The second Community Summit for the Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan Update is
scheduled to begin Sunday, October 1 and run until Sunday, November 5.
Open House meetings are an opportunity for you to provide us with your feedback on what you think
Richardson can use more of, less of, or continue to do to make a community that you’re proud to call
home.
Please take this opportunity to contribute your perspectives at either of the open houses, or online if you’re unable to attend in person.

The City of Richardson is seeking individuals who would like to raise awareness, promote understanding, and lead meetings as neutral facilitators while gathering input for the City’s Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan Update. As an Envision Richardson Ambassador, you will receive training that will enable you to become an informed leader and advocate for the unique interests of your community. HOW DO YOU ENVISION THE FUTURE OF RICHARDSON?
A Comprehensive Plan is a document that states a community’s desired vision for the future. It is used to guide development of the built environment and provide a basis for future zoning decisions. It also helps guide public investments in transportation and other infrastructure improvements to support future development. The policy document includes an implementation plan for use by City staff to accomplish the plan’s goals.
